Koreans often call this dish ChiMaek (치맥), which we would pronounce chee-megk. The chi part from chicken (치킨) and maek from maekju (맥주, the Korean word for beer). Another bit of Korean trivia for you, is that this dish became a favourite in the 2002 football world cup when stalls were set up in the stadiums offering this snack with beer.
