Pasta sauce is pretty cheap to buy, but it is full of sugar and additives. Also, I cannot find one shop bought sauce that I like. Therefore, I started to experiment and came up with this. It really hits the target, and can have a bit of spice.

The recipe below suits us, but you may want less or even more spice, so reduce or add accordingly. This makes 4 servings, and when there are leftovers, I reserve what is left and add it to the Tomato and red pepper soup recipe, made in a similar way.
